Use of hydrogen cyanamide
Dear TCers,
Has anyone had any experience useing hydrogen cyanamide to induce bud break
in trees? I want to use this to induce shoot formation in rootstocks of
pistachio in mature trees without cutting off the scion wood. I heard that
it inhibits the enzyme catalase, but does anyone know if it is used or acts
like an auxin inhibitor?
Thanks in advance,
