Re: Xanthi RNA prep
I have been using an RNA kit from Gentra Systems Inc
(http://www.gentra.com/). It is called the Purescript RNA isolation kit,
the Catalog number is R-5000A. There are two solutions and there is enough
to make a lot of RNA preps. The RNA seem to be of good quality as I have
been able to RT-PCR poly A transcripts of up to 8.4Kb from Arabidopsis. Of
all the RNA kits and protocols I have tried, this has been the best by far.
