Re: pollen storage



Hi Alessandra, we breed Clivia and other flowering bulbs. We either take
pollen or whole anthers, allow to air dry for a few hours in a warm spot,
and then scrape the pollen into gelatin capsules and label. We then place
the capsules in dry sealed jars in the fridge at 4 celsius. We keep this way
for 12 months and still have viability the following season. Regards, Steve
