Plant Tissue Culture- its importance in Biology, Ecology and
Agriculture/Horticulture

To be held at the University of New England in Armidale

January 20th to 23rd 2002

The conference will be centred on the following major themes:

[ In vitro biology (including morphogenesis, organogenesis,
embryogenesis, androgenesis, somatic hybridisation)

[ In vitro conservation (including rare and endangered plants, heritage
plants and important agricultural plants)

[ In vitro ecology (including temperature, light, nutrition, CO2,
influence of other gases in the head space, pH, gelling agents, etc)

[ Emerging themes in plant tissue culture
