Dear Chandra Kumar,

I know 3 groups that have experience with on banana protoplasts
- The group of Dr. Haicour (Univ. Paris Sud)(mailto: robert.haicour@mve.u-psud.fr )
- The group of Dr. Matsumoto (EMBRAPA, Brasil) (kazumoto@cenargen.embrapa.br)
- Laboratory of Tropical Crop Improvement (Belgium)(See also website below)

The protoplast / electroporation work at the Lab of Tropical Crop Improvement was stopped about 5 years ago since other transformation techniques proved to be more efficient for banana. However, the following publications might be helpful
