Re: Fungal infection?
Hello Steve,
NaDCC is sodium dichloroisocyanurate. It is sold under the names
Trichloroisocyanuric acid, Trichlor-s-triazinetrione, or Trichlor at such
places as WalMart, K-Mart, Home Depot, etc. as a swimming pool disinfectant.
For soaking plants or plant parts for 10-30 minutes, the recommended
solution is 1/4 teaspoon to 1 cup water. Longer soaking times - use 1/8 tsp.
to 5 cups water. As an addition to the tc medium, 1/8 teaspoon to 3 cups
water to make a stock solution, then add 20ml to tissue culture medium and
process. This information was taken from Carol Shift's website so I am
including the URL.
http://www.kitchenculturekit.com/nadcc.htm.
I wonder how this compares to PPM?
Hope this helps somewhat.
Have a good one!
Tom
Hope this has been of some help.
Tom
