Re: double transformation

Alejandra,

There has been a fair amount of research on this subject. I refer you to
this paper for a good start on the subject. I have personal experience with
both methods. Results vary with host species, Agrobacterium strain, gene of
interest, etc.

with one Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain containing two binary plasmids as
a method for producing marker-free transgenic plants. Plant Cell Reports 17:

Subject: double transformation

Hi everybody, Happy new year!
Here, in Argentina we are still working. I will appreciate any
information about double transformation by using different strains of
Agrobacterium tumefaciens.Is there any established
technique?Has anyone experience on that kind of transformation?
I hope that someone could give me his advice. Alejandra
