Re: Agrobacterium strains for monocot transformation

I suggest C58C1, it works with some bulbous monocots.

Subject: Agrobacterium strains for monocot transformation

Hi,
I am trying to transform embryogenic callus of a monocot
plant (phoenix dactylifera) and was wondeirng if any one
could recommend some agrobacterium strains that work
well with monocots and if there are any special
techniques (co-culure temp, sonification, etc.) that may
increase the frequency of transformation.
Thank you
