Hello What would be wrong with a small amount of natural light if it is indirect to supplement flourescent light then, that would allow a broad spectrum as well. Thank you

Advice I got from a very helpful engineer at Thorn Lighting here in Australia was that, of all the standard fluorescent tubes, "cool white" tubes were the closest to the absorption spectrum of plants.
It best to supplement them with standard incandescent bulbs. The combination provides a good spectrum at a low price.
