Re: Gerbera-Surface sterilisation

Have you tried liquid media with PPM in in (1-2 ml per liter)? Or a presoak
of your disinfected explant in a dilute PPM solution? Might try 1 ml in
50ml or 100ml water for 24 hours. The PPM website has more
suggestions...................cms

Subject: Gerbera-Surface sterilisation

Dear TISSUE CULTURISTS,

I am working with Gerbera ,and facing the problems like bacterial woozing
from the cut end, and sometimes with fungal infections, even after
sterilizing with Naocl.

Any suggestion in this regard would be very appreciated because i dont want
to use Hgcl2 in any conc..

Thanks inadvance
