I have never seen micronutrients used at such high levels. Are you correct in saying that you use 11,065 mg per liter of manganese sulfate? Is this common for other types of specialty medias that members of the listserve use?

Hi,
We are working on cucumber and melon haploidies, based on pollen irradiation technique.
We are using E20A as nutrient media.

We have a problem in melon plantlets. As you can see in attached pictures the growth of melons is very very slow comparing to cucumber plantlets.
our problem is in melons, and this problem is so slow growth (mostly stopping); I mean that the plants can not give new leaves, there is a stress but we dont understand the reason of this. Same stress is valid in rooting of plantlets.
Is there anybody have idea and experience regarding this subject? Thanks in advance.
PS; I learned this group from a member of this group.
