Bill Please Forward

Dear HML
Many years ago we shipped oil palm ramets around the world with good
success. After Extraction we rinsed the agar off in luke warm water then
We rinsed them again in fresh luke warm water before leaving them to
stand in a third containers of water. We then treated them with benomyl
by standing for 15 min in a 1% (not sure of the concentration) solution
followed by a fourth dip in water. We wrapped each ramet in tissues
soaked in water then placed then in layflat tubing before heat sealing
the top. We placed 5 such pouches into a larger layflat tube with water
and sealed that. These bundles were then packed in special boxes
(insulated with polystyrene) and shipped all around the world.
Hope this helps

Dear Members,
Can any one suggest the best transportation method for TC plants.

We are transporting currently lot of Ornamental plants to USA,
Australia, Newzealand and other countries different varieties of
ornamental plants as ex agar as well as invitro. But still we get
complaints from our customers that some plants sent as exagar are rotton
or dehydrated.
We pack sterile plants washed and packed in carton boxes and also take
necessary steps like wrapping them with sterile tissue paper etc.

Please suggest some good methods
Thanks
HML
